Correction: We should have said "a 15-story" building.
SN10 would be the size of a "40-story" building, but only when stacked on its booster.

SN-10: "Hold on lads, I'm not finished yet!"

It's just unplanned launch followed with rapid unscheduled disassembly

It's like we do in KSP.
First prototype of a rocket explodes 9 times out of 10 tries.
Then the second explodes 4 times out of 5 tries.
Then the third, then the fourth.
Launch by launch, mistake by mistake, fix by fix.
That's how we get the perfect rocket, the one that never fails, because we went through all of them.

Any improvement is a success in my eyes
(Edit: Its a warzone in the reply section)

Definitely a success! Needs to be recalibrated for a softer landing, hard landing caused a seal to rupture causing a fuel leak Wich caused a fire..thumbs up to all who worked on this.count as a success!

It's just quick disassemble for easy transport back to Elon's garage for more tinkering.

It was still a major success and a proof of concept. Seeing something land like this is unbelievable. It will only get better with time and R&D

This is a successful mission. This is because SN10 is just another prototype rocket built solely for gathering data about it's unusual processes. Today SN10 has shown us that a horizontal to vertical landing is possible, just like SN8 showed us that the bellyflop manoeuvre was possible.

I was like, this was awesome, I wish not what you think made a short about this, and 1 min later this pops up!!!

Amazing how their past faults really only came down to restarting the engines and the problem sn9 had, you have to light all 3 instead of keeping 2 on at all times during touch down, maybe in the future they will come back to that idea but it's an amazing improvement compared to the last 2

This was amazingly successful.

Hard to believe that SpaceX is now landing grain silo's and the competition has YET to even land a production booster rocket.

We only learn through testing and failure, it's the improvements after finding that fault that are the key to success

We cant all afford the money for this kind of practice. But practice makes perfect. Success. Dont stop practicing.

Every step forward is a success, no matter how small. (In this case it’s still a big step tho)
