You might have seen Fine, DC Al Fine, or DS Al Fine. These are pretty much the same as codas, with just some slight differences. This is Part 33 of the How To Read Music series.
DC Al Fine, or Da Capo Al Fine, which means from the top to the end. You go back to the very beginning, and play until you reach the Fine, which is the actual end of the piece.
DS Al Fine, which is Dal Segno Al Fine, or from the sign to the end, means to go back to the segno, and then play until the Fine, which, again, is the actual end of the piece.

The meaning of “Da Capo” always reminds me of hearing “take it from the top” during aerobic exercise! (Therefore, that means to repeat the beginning of that portion of the workout!)

If I am mot mistaken "Fine" isnt always at the literal end od the piece. Therefore the description on the opening image of this video should say it means go from the top till you meet "Fine", wherever you see it on the score. Am i correct on this?

Fine isnt always at the literal end of the piece so it could be misleading to say from the top to the end. It should be from the top till you get to the word Fine wherever it is on the score. Can someone verify
