Here are my university decision reactions as a Canadian male student for 2021! I find these videos super entertaining and informative and given that the college decisions reactions trump Canadian university decision reactions, I thought I would help fix that. Plus, most are girls and I gotta represent for the boys. Enjoy :D

Not getting accepted with a mid 90s grade average is mind blowing... Back in the day when I went to school, if you have that, it's a for sure acceptance. It bloggles my mind how competitive it is now. My son is in grade 12 this year and I am so nervous and stressed out for him.

I also got rejected from Waterloo CS. I heard it was stupid hard to get into this year so don't beat yourself up too much.

Hey man don’t sweat it. I applied to 6 schools and got rejected from 3 this year: Waterloo for Computer science and Comp Sci Business dual degree, UBC Sauder, and Queen’s Commerce, and got accepted by u of t (math and physical sciences - rejected from CS), western, and SFU. This year was harsh and based on pure luck as compared to when covid wasn’t around.

When I heard you have mid 90s for your score I was like, I am only mid 80s I am gonna fail (I failed my Asian dad 😅) hopefully I get accepted tho!

I got into McGillU in Computer Engineering but ye it is definitely was harded to get into uni this year

Congrats. Im currently in gr12 and going to apply to the same university as you but will focus more on the business and economics aspects. I'm doing an IB curriculum and my avg is a mid 30 like 35-37, do you think I will get acceptance. And also do you have to submit IELTS score, if yes how much did u achieve overall.

One more thing I want to ask, Do you need to provide proof for your extracurriculars? And Should I do early admission or normal admission, does early admission hold more weight or help me to get a higher chance of acceptance? Thank you
