Kings of War 3rd Edition Battle Report - Ogres vs. Trident Realms

It's time for Smoke and Mirrors as Owen and I work our way through the core rulebook missions of Kings of War 3rd Edition!

At 16:53, the Thuul (or whatever those are) can flank charge in that original triple charge. You do center, but only after you make contact with the unit. The only hard rule about the "pick up and place" step involving that is that the unit still needs to be in contact after being placed with the point of impact (which they would be).

Great video! Really enjoyed this, great close battle. One other rules correction, the Kraken absolutely can move sideways D3" as part of a regroup move. That was added in 3rd edition.

I hate to say it, but your ogres are so tough I kinda like to see them lose 😅 Owen’s Trident Realms seem to be one of the few armies that can beat them, too, though this one was incredibly close. Good game boys!

Nice surprise to see a 2nd KoW game so soon. Thought at first it was repost of the earlier game.
I haven't played KoW (fantasy) for sometime. A cpl friends and I play Ancients & decided (house rule) the 'bucket'O dice was a bit much. We just use +1 To Hit flank/rear, & went 'old school' so "1" always a miss.

Geez, those crosbowogers were so devastatiing. So many good roll for them. I wonder why they haven't been nerfed still? Grats for Owen. He finally beat those ogres. :)

Sacred Horn doesn't work on Inspiring, which isn't an Aura, it's worded independently.
