Many forget this ship has 4 ways to exit. Ramp, collar door, elevator up and down. I can carry up to 4 furies at once too. Ursa, fury, storm, roc, hover bikes. It has a lot of utility.

I don't have 1 favorite ship, I have various favorite ships for different tasks. For example; the 135c is now my favorite loot-goblin ship. It can hold 3 of the 2-SCU inventory boxes on top of its already existing 6-SCU of internal inventory, for a total of 12-SCU of space to hold the stuff you loot from outposts and bunkers and such. It's tiny, uses no hydrogen, and lets you get in and out fast with minimal risk. My favorite light fighter, on the other hand, is the Hawk running a fully gimbaled loadout of 4 distortion repeaters and 2 neutron repeaters to shut the target down fast and peck away at them while they can't do anything to stop me lol.

My main problem with the Corsair is that I can't walk past a door without being sucked into the structure of the ship, can't sit at the table without falling through the floor, and so on like that. Have they fixed that in 3.22?

Corsair was my dream ship, someone on the chat share me an ERT bounty mission, he helped me too, we made 8 mill auec with gasping wheels, that was a lot of fun, now I have my Corsair and I'm so happy and glad to have it. Next is the M2 !And I will go with the number 23 by the way

Ad5b ballistics will shred targets fast right now. And they have a 5km range, but I typically hold off until I get about 2.5 km away with lag pip

Corsair is easily my favorite ship in the game.
All Drake ships have a really rugged theme that's all about work that I really appreciate.
The corsair really sends this this concept, it even has a functioning screen chillin' on the right hand side of the floor in the cockpit - something so believable for a "work and rugged" vehicle.
Cutlass has always been in top 5, and so has the Buccaneer. I also love the mule for when I explore caves. Caterpillar will be next purchase but i've rented it a few times for trade runs and it's one Hell of a ship too.
All in all I think drake ships are some of the coolest and best in the game.

my problem with the Corsair i that when your shield breaks it feels like a paper Mache and once you lose a wing your are done

Ive not really had anything more expensive than the andromeda more than once and would love the opportunity even if im invested in the grind. Ive been playing for maybe a year now and im quite experienced but would love the chance to get a caterpillar or something mega again.

I must say i love the Corsair myself. I have only one thing to say about the guns: don't use Lightsrikes.

I use the ballistic cannons and have good results with AD4B and AD5B ballistic gattlings too. Disadvantage, limited ammo. Huge advantage, the projectiles penetrate shields. You deliver damage and take out ships with the shields partially intact.

Now if you want to use lasercannons, i would suggest the Onmiskies. Except for being a good amount less expensive, there is one really important thing to note: the Lightstrike V has 550 HP, the Onmisky XV has 2640 HP. That is the same HP as the M7A, but for 20k less aUEC. The stats are identical.

One thing:
There seems to be a bug. If you lose one gun (and again, LS has only 550 HP) you pay full price for repair, without the gun being replaced. So if you lose a gun: take everything out of the ships inventory into local, fly naked and selfdestruct.

Corsair is also awesome for ERT since u have a lot of space for the drug boxes and even more when placed loosely. This way u can make multiple millions from only one mission in no time at all. I guess 696
