Hi Russell loved this video, I’ve been missing my left hand target on one and two and have always struggled with them so I have been playing round with my feet position the last couple shoots, watching this has given me the confidence that I have now got it right ( I’m a LFH Shooter)

You guys do a good job of explaining things. So many videos on clay shooting miss so much information its not useful to me.

What are the open and the square stances? I guess "open" means your toes are pointing parallelly to the barrel and "square" means perpendicular to the barrel.

ATA Rules require that you have at least one foot on the center line of the station. It's technically against the rules to stand on one side or the other of the concrete pad.

From the ATA rule book: "The contestant
must stand with at least one foot on an imaginary line drawn through the center of the trap and continuing through the center of the post, or have one foot on each side of the line."

Not sure about DTL.
