BR1 Game: Solana Third Person Shooter Where You Earn $1 Per Kill

In this video I want to show you a project that's on my radar, it's still quite early so it's possible to get on their whitelist. I'd recommend joining their Discord.

BR1 is the world's first "Risk-based" shooter that's being built on Solana.

You pay $1 to spawn, and earn the greater of 10% or $1 for every player killed.

This is a Play to Win game where skill is heavily rewarded.

It's a 3rd person shooter, where you spawn at the edge of the map, and slowly move closer to the center of the map. You get stronger weapons near the center, and once you're in the center you can't take your stronger weapons back to the edge.

So essentially all the action happens in the center of the game.

The map is procedurally generated, and you need to use Solana to spawn. The game uses Solana as their currency from what I understand.

This is genuinely a brand new gameplay model I've never heard of before, and sounds very addicting as it combines the FPS game model with winning and losing money.

To play the game you need their NFTs. They are going to be releasing a 10,000 character NFT collection.

Completely agree, the first solana game to “take off” will lead to a rush for everyone looking to pick up the next big solana game. No doubt half of them will ape into projects with zero gameplay footage that aren’t coming to market but at least some will find their way to the next BotBorgs or Panzerdogs etc.

Sounds good as long as they can manage cheaters. Reminds me of Knock-out and similar games in poker.

Edit: Don't do it! They treated me horribly by them on mint day and all I did was say they shouldn't have muted Discord. I will never support them and neither should you.
