$20 Wen Rotary Tool review for Cosplay and Foamsmithing

A rotary tool is the most important tool in a Foamsmith's arsenal. While rotary tools can vary greatly in price I wanted to test out this little $20 Wen rotary tool with flex shaft I found on amazon and see if it can stand up to the Dremel.

This is the one I own. I love it. I too swapped the sanding drums. My cosplay partner's Dremel died. So he borrowed my Wen. He has not returned it back because he loves the flex shaft.

My son bought this for me several years ago for my costume builds and I'm still using it! The flex shaft is great!

Looks like a good system to get someone going so they can get their safety equipment also and upgrade later when needed. I noticed for just a couple dollars extra you can get the deluxe with a couple of nice accessories.

After a few months is it still working decent? I'm not a huge Maker, a little here and there, but my Craftsman rotary cutter is just to heavy and fast
