Yes in advanced Black and White mode you can save a tone preset. Took me a while to find it. Very handy.

I recently purchased the SC-P900. I plan on using the Epson Print Layout for printing. I am a bit confused if I still need to make all the media settings in the printers LCD screen if I made the settings in the Epson Print Layout. Thanks for your informative videos.

My last rant about the characters bug was for the epson p700 printer. it is next to the Black Enhance Overcoat and the Gloss Smoothing options check boxes. The printer settings for the P600 have no characters.

There are completely different settings available when you choose roll paper, and try Gallery Wraps etc. I wish they'd been covered too.

I have 3 Epson printers (Stylus Pro 3880, SureColor P800 and SureColor P900). In Photoshop, when I go to File>Print>Print Settings, under Print Quality I see Max Quality and Quality Options. Is there a difference between choosing Max Quality or Quality Options and moving the slider to 5 when the Quality Options window opens up? I notice that if I use Epson Print Layout, however, and go to Max Quality there is no slider. Does that mean that the slider is not needed and it is already at the maximum quality? Thank you very much. I appreciate all you do to explain quality printing.

The only problem I see with the EPL software is that it will only print a flattened image - if you try to print an image with layers, it will only print the top layer. Printing from Photoshop, through the Epson driver, the image prints as it appears on the screen - all layers are intergrated as seen on-screen.

I have a P, thank you Dano, "photo" 7000 and a 3880. I keep the 7000 set to photo black ink and the 3880 to matt black. I LOVE this software but everything I see says it isn't "supported" for the 3880. I tried printing a few from EPL on the 3880 and they looked great. Does EPL work with a 3880 or should I use LR/PS or QumageOne, none of which work as well. I started printing around 2015 and watched Dano and Scott Kelby's class as my starting point. PS printing It was a cumbersome nightmare compared to this program.

Here a question: my Epson Print Layout Software is working extreme slowly out of Photoshop, while when using the stand alone version everything is working smoothly - any idea what goes wrong? Thank you!

If I make a selection in photoshop in my adjustments, only the selection shows up in EPL. Some images I can't open -image not supported even though I meet all the requirements. Very frustrating I like using the software on the few images that open correctly.Photoshop 25.11 - epson p900

My sizes don't include 11 x 14 and when I try to add a custom size it won't allow me to add anything larger than 8.5. Any tips?

I just bought the ET-8550. I installed the Epson Layout app and it runs fine. But when I launch PS and press File Automate, there is no Epson Layout Option. What did I do wrong?
