Did not work for me!!   Fabric would not  chenille when  cut  on  bias.Used  cotton
What fabric did  you  use?

Did you cut on the bias so the pieces would curve better or is that a way to get more strips?

When you apply the strips around the flower petals, do you restitch over the original stitch on the chenille pieces, or right on the outer edge of the strips ? Also, when you add the chenille around the exterior of the pillow case, do you add those before completing the pillow case, i.e. add one to the front and back before assembly or add them once the pillow case has been completed? Thank you!

The fabric won`t chenille if not cut on the bias. You would just have a frayed mess.
