The actual performance was amazing. James Brown completely stole the show that night. I felt bad for the stones having to follow that. He took their asses to school for 18 minutes

It’s weird to think there are kids today and in the future that won’t know just how influential and popular Michael Jackson was but even weirder and sad that there are already people who don’t know how big and impactful James brown was as his music and dancing influenced Michael Jackson heavily.

He did his thing on this role. This movie overwhelms me greatly, it was the last outing I had with my sweet mom before her passing. She caught me crying and smiled at me during the ending with Try Me! RIP Chadwick, gone too soon.

It’s crazy I just watched this movie yesterday and then he just ends up passing. I’d say this was his best performance

When I saw this scene with this specific hairstyle I thought the movie was being a bit over the top. HOWEVER I've recently seen a pic of the real James Brown with this exact hair style aaaannnd it REALLY was that big lmao wow
