If you don't have a seat at the table, you're probably on the menu.

Cenk stoped his own company from unionizing but still has the nerve to criticize Amazon

The people that voted for not having it did it to themselves

My suspicion is that most people feared that if that warehouse unionized, Amazon would shut it down, lay everyone off, then open a new warehouse a few towns away and hire new workers.

The working class is complicit in it's own oppression and is the only group who will end it. It's on us.

I'm from Alabama and I will tell you the job market is pretty bad because almost everything in my area goes through a temp agency. So yeah, you have auto plants and the like but only a very few of the employees are actually employed by the company. Instead you have a bunch of contractors paying less than a living wage hiring and firing 24/7 365 to where I have come to the conclusion that it's designed to not be stable. So with that in mind outside of those places you have a pay day loan store on every corner almost as well as more than a fair share of pawn shops. I believe the real reasons companies manufacture in the south is because they can pay the residents a low wage, scare them out of a union, and because of the education level or lack there of on top of heavy handed religious beliefs they'll never stand up for themselves or demand a better life. Now what is going to happen at Amazon? Everyone who voted yes is going to get fired.

How is the TYT Union effort progressing ? That last 20 Million dollar investment should take care of Cenk Uygur's concerns about struggling to make a profit and fighting against it.

People always vote their own interest... until they got screwed.

Those employees who voted against unionization are dumb. Do they ever wonder why the turn over rate is so high? If you are one of those people who voted against unionization should never complain about money, job security, injury, and bad work conditions.

What they need is the Department of Labor to step in and investigate Amazon's SOP.

Saw this coming. Sad thing is, they probably spent more fighting this then what they would have lost. Oh well, 2020 will be remembered as the good old days soon

Amazon must have told employees they would lose their jobs.

This is really sad news. Seems like a good day to cancel Prime and everything else Amazon.

When the company makes it difficult for a worker to join a union to demand more in exchange for his labor, the worker will demand the government to mandate the company to give more to the worker
