Dread, devastation, and utter hopelessness are just few of the words that can be used to describe the horror that Shin Godzilla is, a creature with one purpose: humanity’s annihilation. The 31st Toho entry in the Godzilla series was released in 2016 and what it offered was something far more sinister than ever before. ~{Yes, I’m talking about the God of Destruction, Shin Godzilla!!!}~serious/horrifying
According to the movie, there are a total of four different stages of evolution. Although, The Art of Shin Godzilla and several other official publications say otherwise. You see, it seems like the fourth form was merely a beginning or rather just an adolescent form of the monster and so Godzilla would continue to evolve to even more insane levels or rather forms.
In concepts a total of 8 forms exist but, Forms 6, 7 and 8 are purely speculation on the part of scientists in a journal. Well actually, Form 5 is still theoretical too but again, it does have some validity in what was seen on screen.
So, with that being said, let’s just find out what each form of the most frightening kaiju, Shin Godzilla has to offer—starting right from form 1 to form 8!

Well, according to the lore, shin godzilla, if not stopped, can evolve to astronomical sizes - most likely making it the strongest kaiju known so far in the monsterverse. It could go to the size bigger than the multiverse, maybe easily simply eating multiverses all at once.

Shin is actually a prehistoric, ancient species of salamanders that fed off of radiation for 50 years, then was discovered and even experimented in a lab by Mori, then it got loose and Mori went off to sea to find the creature but an explosion accures starting the events of the film. Plus there is a theory that shin godzilla is Mori but fully transformed into the monster and there are hints throughout the movie if you watch it.

Ngl, I read a lot and love to immerse myself in fiction, yet nothing compares to what shin Godzilla does for me. Body horror, transcendental beings, apocalypse, neon Genesis evangelion. Shin Godzilla has it all. Even outside of the film you can imagine so many scenarios and endless possibilities with it. It truly is a mountaintop of a creation.

Shin 1-3: I am tadpole, then lizard, then big lizard.
Shin 4-6: I am Godzilla (IMMA BE FIREING MA LASARS), then humanoid, now I am flesh that corrupts Earth.

this video's pretty misleading. there's no confirmed shin's 8th fotm or 12th form. it might as well be just a rumor or a fan theory.

On the thumbnail, one of the forms was a photoshopped Giant God Warrior from Nausicaa of the valley of the wind. Also 6:41 was the photoshopped Giant God Warrior.
