An electronic component symbol is a pictogram used to denote various electrical and electronic devices or functions in a circuit diagram.

Electronic symbols are essential to know while designing a circuit for a project. These symbols are largely standardized internationally, by the American National Standard Institute, and the International Electrotechnical Commission to signify the component.
