Denmark bans South Korean ramen product deemed too spicy

Denmark recalls several South Korean spicy ramen noodle products over fears the ramen packs are so spicy, they could poison consumer

The country's food agency believes the capsaicin levels in the noodles are too concentrated.

On the Scoville scale, a measure of chilli pungency, it rates at 13,200.

The ramen is deemed acceptable by Australia's food standards.

rotfl! I LOVE spicy ramen! That is ridiculous to "ban" food products on heat, flavor, etc. The only reasonable reason to ban food is when it has very negative health risks in it. Spice is not one of those. This is when politicians have gone too far.
