Kadıköy Square or Kadıköy İskele Square (also known as Kadıköy Rıhtım Square) is a coastline between Haydarpaşa Station and İnciburnu Lighthouse in Kadıköy, Istanbul.

The most striking among the buildings in the square is Haldun Taner Stage. The building was built in 1920s as a building where fruits and vegetables were stored and sold. After moving to İçerenköy in the 1980s, it was restored and allocated to Istanbul University. Today, the lower part of the building is used as Istanbul City Theaters Kadıköy Haldun Taner Stage and some of it as Istanbul University State Conservatory. [1]

Another historical building in the square is Şehremaneti Building. The building, located opposite the Beşiktaş ferry port, was built between 1912-1914 by the Armenian architect Yervant Terziyan. After the renovation in 1995, the building, which was used as the Kadıköy District Governorship for a while and then the Municipality building, hosted city council meetings, events and exhibitions after the municipality moved to Söğütlüçeşme. [2]

Kadıköy Rıhtım Square has an important location in Istanbul city transportation. With the city lines services made from Eminönü and Beşiktaş piers, Kadıköy and various points on the European side (Eminönü, Karaköy, Beşiktaş, Kabataş) and Adalar are connected by seaway. It is also possible to reach different points of the Anatolian side with the bus and minibus lines starting from the square. One of the stations of Kadıköy-Kartal Metro (line M4) is located in the square. The Kadıköy-Moda tram line (line T3) also passes here.

It is one of the most popular rally areas on the Anatolian Side.
