did you know that Pink in the Afternoon was developed especially for Audrey Hepburn to wear in Breakfast at Tiffany's? it's one of Revlon's historical colors. Cherries in the snow is another historical color of theirs that's been around forever and it was mentioned in an episode of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Always love your recommendations! I totally agree about the Maybelline and Revlon lipsticks as well as that wet and wild High shine catsuit. So good! For the past decade I have used lip stain, then creamy matte bullet lipstick, with gloss over top for an all day moisturizing combination that doesn't emphasize lip lines. However now that I'm in my 40s, I've discovered that using lip liner is essential. And I always hated how drying Matte liquid lipsticks were so I've ignored them and didn't realize that formulas have really improved. I'm in awe of how long they are lasting with no transfer and comfortable on the lips. That's my new combination and then I just keep a colored lip gloss in my bag for late in the day when the lipstick has worn off but there's still usually some color there because the matte lipsticks leave a stain too.

I have soooo many lip products, but couldn't resist last week when I found three Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks on clearance at Walmart. Two were just over a dollar and the other was around $3. They were great colors. I keep lip products in my desk at work, at my home desk, in my car, in my purse, in my nightstand, in my kitchen, and my makeup drawer has too many for one person. I’m still stuck on the rimmel Provacalips. I put it on, blot it with a tissue, then whatever gloss and that baby is there all day. Top it with whatever, the color is there for the duration of the day.

I absolutely love this video of lipsticks and liners. I haven't worn liner in a long time and have been waiting for some great advice. My go to lipsticks right now are the Maybelline vinyl ink and super stay. They literally stay on until the end of the day without reapplication and even through eating a burger or any type of messy food. But I'm really excited to try some of the other ones you highlighted.
