What an awesome pick up he was for us. These are the types of moves that Brian Cashman makes that initially make us scratch our heads. But those years with him and Andruw Jones platooning left field, DHing, and pinch-hitting were exactly what we needed. A descent ball player with Philly, lost in the shuffle in NY with such massive star power, came off the bench to hit for baseball’s highest paid player and delivered not once but TWICE in the game. He can show this footage to his grand kids 30 yrs from now.
