this song will always have a special place in my heart. it was playing the last time I self harmed. it's a bad memory, but this song reminds me that things won't always be bad and that you can only go up after you reach rock bottom. I'm more than a year clean and I've recently been finding peace in being single and mostly friendless. I spent so much time focusing on other people and focusing on this idea that I had to be friends with everyone and constantly have a partner that I lost myself. Ive been really happy these past few weeks as I've come down from a depressive episode. I'm a bit worried about schooling starting back this Wednesday though because I have asthma and my parents are like 67. even if I don't get bullied or harassed like I have been for the past 3 years I could easily catch covid (I live in a town where I know that mask wearing will not be enforced) and end up with me and my parents dead. despite all of that I'm still remaining hopeful. I didn't spend months trying to feel better to have another episode
