Karl's last line is in all fairness very very witty, he does have moments of genius!

Karl makes a good point. You need to get people able to take care of themselves rather that just keep giving them stuff forever. To fix the problem it is mostly political which is causing their poverty. They don't have individual rights protected necessary to get a growing economy into capitalism. Lack of property rights excessive socialism which is central planning etc.

I used to be such a fan of Gervais & initially loved the Gervais, Merchant, Pilkington pod casts but its all so predictable now.Run its course.

Love Gervais, Love Merchant but I really think they are dragging themselves down to the lowest possible level with Karl Pilkington. Just my view - and there you go. Please Ricky stick with intelligent comedy and stop the nonsense with this man - it is a real shame.
