This is why social media (and I include YouTube comments in that 😂) is one of the largest and perhaps the most dangerous vector of all kinds of mental illnesses and divisions plaguing our hyper-connected society. I have already long ago gotten off the madness of other social media platforms. One of my New Year's resolutions for 2024 is to drastically reduce the number of YouTube comments I make or read as I address this last remaining loophole in the vectors of infection that apply to me. I'm going to try to limit it to one YouTube comment per month starting now. Thank you for this reminder, Universe. ❤️

Problem is I care about how I'm thinking about myself in my past, how I'm responding to myself, causing guilt and shame.

What if the contrast is not the past and I have to recall my pleasant memories that are in the past in order to feel good?

Even my dreams are filled with the horror of my waking nightmares.

Meditation and visualizing is more difficult than it use to be.

Writing helps me cope. I’m able to have the voice I’ve been denied repeatedly and gain clarity and relief. However I feel Ike I’m just treading water until the next wave comes and pulls me back under.

I keep fighting to just back at the starting point.
