As word got around Rolls Royce was used as street sweepers. Sales dropped they had to apologise to the king and ask him to not use them as road sweeping vehicles.

In 1984 my husband and I went to the dealership in garden grove in Orange County, California. We were looking at the cars, the car sales man yelled at us ( don’t touch the car) . I told my husband, they think we can not afford to buy a new car. So we left did not say anything.
That day I had 15 thousands cash in my purse ready to buy a new car and pay cash. We used that money to made a down payment to buy a house, now ours house worth 1.4 million, paid off. Thanks for that sell man . Hahaha 😂 . The house in 1984 worth 98, 000, now 1.4 million.

I'm guessing the salesman probably never got the idea that he was rude crude and uncouth.
He probably patted himself on the back for selling you all those cars and he didn't give a rip what you did with them.
