What a run for the 37-year-old veteran Seppi. He took out one of the hottest hard-court players of the season nd booked himself into the third round. I had Hurkacz making the QF! He faces Oscar Otte next; he has a real shot at a really respectable fourth round finish.

Seppi is the most underrated trickster. His backhand match point winner against Roger Federer in the Australian Open (I don't remember which year) was ludicrously entertaining.

Seppi has had an amazing carreer. He's not talked about much, but every young player should study him. He's one of the best ever at taking away a players strengths and rhythm. Incredibly smart player. Of course he also has extraordinarily talented hands.

It seems Seppi is excellent in managing his energy over a match and over a tournament. Honestly, after the marathon in the first round, I thought he had no chances against Hurkacz. Hats off to the guy.
