Alexander the great did not rebuild the temple. he offered but it was refused and after his death, artemision was rebuilt again.

This is not the Artemis image i am used to seeing.
I favor the one i have seen of her reaching for her arrows wearing a tunic girded at the waist. THAT is the real ARTEMIS!
