Studio Tour!

Welcome to my creative space!

It’s been very cool to be able to make records out of here for the last three + years. The space was designed by someone who really understood acoustics and cared. It definitely feels that way just listening to music in here. There are basically zero parallel walls in the entire space. Every wall is angled or treated in a way that benefits the sound. Diffusion and absorption are meticulously detailed throughout the space.

The room I work out of was actually designed for mastering. It’s a bit like wearing headphones even though the speakers are 6 feet away.

The space also includes an iso / vocal booth that is so dead it’s nearly anechoic. A guitar booth with various amps and a Leslie. As well as a large live room that can host 6 - 10 musicians comfortably. The live room also has three different drum kits and three different pianos for various sounds/tones. A full size Steinway for the large grand sound and a felt piano for those soft movie score cuts.
