The worst part about this recession is that consumers are racking up credit card debt. In April alone, credit card debt went up 20% while rates have doubled in a year. Inflation is so high that consumers are literally taking debt for basic life necessities. Collapse is near.

The CHIPS Act reminds me of the Foxconn factory in Wisconsin. It received taxpayer money to build the factory, but the company never occupied the building, never started manufacturing, never hired the employees it said it would.

I work at ups and it's a disaster right now. They're trying to run that product through the hub like they don't even have money to pay us (if it weren't for the teamsters and OSHA i guarantee they'd have the supes out there with bullwhips on loaders and unloader) Even though I'm fairly high in seniority i still fear eventually getting laid off. Btw I'm short UPS they wanna rush me about I'll get it out of them a different way.
