What is a stop of light in about 2 minutes. You'll sometimes here people talk about a stop of light, if you don't know what that is, its basically a measurement of light.

This is seriously helpful when it come to mentally working through what my shutter speed will be and what kind of filter I will need. Have you considered making a video on bulb ramping time lapses? Is that something you do?

I can increase the exposure by one stop by controlling either the aperture, iso or shutter or a combination of these three.
Ex: Aperture from f8.9 to f5.6 means a stop. (f8.0-f7.1, f7.1-f6.3, f6.3-f5.6)
So what will be for iso and shutter ?

Hi all. New to photography and this part is really confusing to me to do all these calculations on the fly when out in the field taking photos.
I'm still trying to understand if this information is useful when out taking photos. Does the camera not show you when you have a bad or good exposure? if it does then are these calculations necessary? When will i use this information?
