I grew up by a cemetery and I knew a lot of the people buried there. My grandparents as well as my little sister were there. I loved to go walking in the cemetery and helping to keep it clean and well maintained.

You inspired my brother to do this! Every summer he cleans at least 65 off. He goes around different cemetery’s and researches them. Its his favorite thing to do.❤

This is beautiful. Alice may not have been famous and her story isn't groundbreaking, but I'm sure she was important to those that knew her. I think it's wonderful that an "every day" person is being memorialized and honored. After all, that's what most of us are!

Whenever I visit my parent’s stone, especially in summer, I make an effort to tend to their neighbors, whose families may not live in the area to keep things tidy. I know there are many others who do the same. What you are doing is an admirable step above.
