Came here after learning about Val Kilmer leaving us. This brilliant scene shows his talent perfectly. He doesn't even show his face but his presence and dialogue delivery are awesome.

How good is Val Kilmer in this scene. Just look at the hand acting at 1:05 his pistol hand gesture is even done like an Elvis movement. Genius.

Damn. This scene is amazing. A man who loves Elvis, and has Elvis as his mentor/conscience. Using his wise teachings to do what is best for Clarence for the crazy love that he has for his wife. Damn. This makes Clarence such a wise fool.

1993 was a damn good year for Val Kilmer, especially in terms of playing historical legends. Here, he was a ghostly apparition of the King, and in "Tombstone, " he played the iconic Old West gunslinger John "Doc" Holiday!
