Location: It’s off of Floridas Atlantic coast, about 35 miles north of Jacksonville and about 20 miles from the Georgia border. The closest major airport to Amelia Island is Jacksonville International (JAX), about a 30-minute drive away. and it’s about a 3 hour drive from Orlando
