I hate changing phones. I had a Sony compact. It has been underwater, in waterfalls, dropped from heights. Now 5 years on, when it's charging port started failing and battery life was failing and things were getting slow I was persuaded to get a new phone. Time was when small ruled. These new phones have a bigger screen size than an early portable tv. I got the A52. I remember buying cars for less than that! (the ones that sell for $27, 000 today) Anyway, this is a truly amazing phone. It did a hearing test on me and showed that I had a deficit in my right ear, courtesy of military firing ranges. It then altered the music playback to cater for my hearing deficit. It literally was like hearing stereo for the first time! So after 7 days I am just amazed by the things this will do. I have even made telephone calls with it.

Theres only a 60 dollar difference. The charger is actually 26 dollars . I would say the bigger battery is at least 10 bucks. The bigger screen from most reports is brighter and bigger on the 72 . The tele lense is at least 20 bucks worth or more with ois . I would say the a72 is worth that 60 bucks in spades .

I held both phone but the A72 is too big. I opted for the A52 white because the size is just perfect. Just like when I was deciding with iPhone 11 pro and 11 pro max. I opted for the 11 pro. I use both phones and the size is just perfect for my hand. Loved the samsung A52😍

Am I the only one that thinks the screen size difference is actually significant? And for someone who likes larger screens it's a no-brainer...the A72 is almost a perfect phone. They won't release a 5g version because they will lose a ton of flagship buyers, me being one of them.

battery is a big factor for me so the 5000mAH on the a72 was the deciding factor. It lasts me the whole day on 1 charge overnight

I really feel disappointed with the Galaxy A72 because I was expecting more advanced features on this smartphone.
But on the other hand, the Galaxy A52 is a really competitive device in this mid-range price, though! I really liked it a lot!

I think Samsung knows what they are doing. Guys am telling you A72 is much better phone than A52 but if you can't afford it, then you can go with A52. You will never regret getting A72.

Got the 4G/LTE version foor quite a bit less and I'm more than happy with it. In Canada the 5G model officially costs $659 which is bonkers, but since the 4G/LTE model isn't officially available here, I could it for $400. Really great value. And don't @ me about "but you could get a (higher specced Chinese brand) for the same/less money!"
