ROMANIA holds military drills with tanks and artillery alongside NATO allies.

Romanian, U.S., Dutch, and French participated in drills as part of the 'Justice Sword' exercise in Cincu, 265 km (164 miles) from the capital Bucharest.

Around 1,200 soldiers were involved in the drills and conducted operations using armoured personnel carriers (APCs), tanks, heavy cannons, missiles, and drones.

Justice Sword exercises started on October 27 and will end on Friday (November 11).

NATO members stepped up air policing missions and sent troops to countries on its eastern flank in response to Russia's military build-up along the borders with Ukraine, before it invaded on February 24.

A multinational land force led by France of up to 4,000 NATO troops is present in Romania, a member since 2004.

It's really cool to see the Romanian MLI-84M! I had no idea what they were until I looked them up! They were originally a licensed copy of the BMP-1, but they have subsequently undergone so many changes, they're uniquely Romanian! They're armed with a 25mm autocannon and two ATGM missile launchers!

Awesome to see Romania training with NATO partners again. I was in the army when Romania joined NATO and such exercises helped us immensely.
I hope our army gets a replacement for the old TR85s soon and that once Ukraine is free from the orcs we will get to train with Ukrainian troops too. They will have a lot of valuable lessons to share and they gained a lot of experience fighting Russia since 2014.

For those who dont know... this application aside ...OUR FORCES grew exponentially in quality in the last...4 or 5 years
FOR the FIRST time in OUR history someone is taking seriously the MODERN WARFARE in Romania
Maybe the french or the germans might laugh at my words but for Romania this is a SERIOUS achievement ....that of being a military force AGAIN.
Our army was very very LOW and delapided in the 90's early 2000...this is a half a MIRACLE

Romanian special forces are something you don't want to mess with. What other specs do you know that primarily train with the weapons of the enemy?

The logic behind is simple: As long as you have enemies, you have a steady supply of ammo. If you have no more enemies, you can go home.

Before NATO, romanian army was similar to actual russian army. No training, poor equipment, bad behavior with recruits, huge corruption. There's a huge change but there's still far from a good army.
