Kirk Franklin apologizes to gay community for 'homophobia' in black church

Grammy-winning Gospel artist Kirk Franklin is back with his first studio album in four years, the provocatively titled Losing My Religion.

Franklin has been known over the course of his twenty-two year career as a contemporary Gospel recording artist who pushes boundaries, and his latest album is no exception.

Speaking against homosexuality is not speaking against Gays. God said it is a sin like any other sin like adultery, stealing etc. To not tell the truth about any sin is to lead people astray. God never changes, man has changed his outlook on gays and trying to say God has changed his mind too- he has not.

Kirk Franklin you cannot twist the bible to justify your friendship with the the same bible you spoke about warns us that being friends with the world would put us at enmity with GOD.

He talked around, so many Gospel singers talk around this topic out of fear. Fear of being casted out, they will pull their music let a Gospel singer tell the truth and you will never hear from them again

Christians need to read and study the bible for themselves and pray for understanding. Kirk Franklin is presenting his own ideas and not following the word of It should not be surprising to hear him talking like this because Kirk Franklin is a friend of the world and has been for a very long time ...As far back as what 20 years ago, he was already creating songs from secualr music and just recently recorded with the blasphemous Kanye West . Kirk also highly praises ungodly people such as rapper Kendric Lamar (like he did at the the grammys last month)....

From Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Yolanda Adams, etc to newer artists like Kierra Sheard and others, they have helped to take gospel music in the wrong direction which is sad because they have so many followers. The bible is fulfilling itself as it says `many will be led astray`.
