В Астрокосмическом центре ФИАН формируется новая научная программа, которая будет реализована с помощью телескопа «Радиастрон». Помимо российских ученых в программе участвуют астрофизики Испании, Нидерландов, США и Японии. Телескоп-интерферометр "Радиоастрон", работающий в космосе с 2011 года, уже вошел в книгу рекордов Гиннесса как самый большой космический орбитальный радиотелескоп.
