This song always makes me cry because, even though my biological dad is in my life and we love each other, my stepfather didn't have to take on the complicated role of being my other father. He didn't have to accept my autism. But he did it anyways and I love him. What a sweet video. ❤️

It's even more intense if you think about the fact that he was also Baelfire/ Neal's adoptive dad, if ever so briefly, in Neverland - & even much, much later; when they've fallen in love with the same girl, there's still that hint of fatherly affection that Killian has for Baelfire- maybe it made things a bit... complicated (lol) but I liked that they didn't just ignore it.

Hook really did become a father figure for Henry more then anyone... he has been there for Henry, and is his step dad officially as well. I love to see some Emma and Henry vids, and also Swan - Jones Family vids. :)

Perfect! Absolutely positively perfect! This makes me so happy! After Neal died, Henry had lost his father, and it had taken him so long to find him in the first place. Hook always knew that Emma and Henry were a package deal, and instead if simply tolerating Henry, he stepped in as his father. I was so glad when Hook made Henry his best man for the wedding, and I love all of the bonding scenes between these two. One thing I'm definitely looking forward to seeing in season 7 is Henry as a father, and Hook will be there too, so hopefully we can get some more bonding scenes. I love this video so much, the song works perfectly for these two, and all of the scenes are lined up perfectly with the lyrics. You must have put a lot of work into making this, thank you so much! I LOVE this song and completely relate to it. My biological dad wasn't in my life very much growing up, but my step dad was. He didn't have to step in when he saw my mom walking in a blizzard with a baby and 2 toddlers, but he did. And to this day I see him as my dad. He's pretty much the only one I've had most my life. He didn't have to step in, but I'm glad he did. Him and my mom have been together for 15 years and married for 8 years. I honestly don't know what my life would be like without him, especially for my little brother. My biological father was never there for my little brother to know, so my step dad was the only father he knew for most of my little brothers life. He's been there since I was 2½ and has taught me so much. I will forever be grateful for him.

This is such a great video. It reminds me of me and my dad. My dad isn't my biological father but he raised me as if I was and I only met my biological dad like three times.

This was so good!! I loved it! However I got to be honest with you on something. You should totally re-do this video when you have more scenes of Henry and his little girl once season 7 starts airing! That way the second verse will make more sense & match the clips to show Henry as a dad and stuff. And you will have the scenes of adult Henry with Killian too.I say this because you could make an amazing video out of it! I say this because of the second verse of the song is about the little boy growing up to be a Dad & hoping he's half a good a Dad as the man who proposed to his mom when he was 5 years old. I like what you did though in making it seem like it was Killians POV. You did good with what you could work with! You know I love you!
