Vintage Guitars Vintage V100 reissue demo

Vintage V100 reissue demo - A white single cut guitar with Wilkinson pickups, Grover tuners, binding on the front, back, up the neck and round the headstock, and despite the thicker body, isn't heavy and doesn't neck dive.

The Vintage V100 reissue Arctic White is an incredible looking guitar. Even my eldest son commented on how good it looked.

Body-wise the Vintage V100 reissue is made out of Mahogany including the neck, which is what you'd expect on a carved top guitar of this style. It's definitely not too heavy though but that may be helped by the additional carves it has.

The grover machine heds on this Vintage V100 reissue are a nice touch. The last thing you want to be doing is buying a guitar only to replace the tuners immediately.

The fretboard radius is 12", the neck has a soft C shaped carve and the fretboard is Rosewood! Very traditional specs so this Vintage V100 reissue won't feel out of place or stange in any way.

As you'd expect, the scale lenth is 628mm or 24.75" so the Vintage V100 reissue feels as it should. These Vintage guitars seem to come with traditinal features that you'd want but with nice tweaks here and there to improve on the designs.

All the Vintage guitars I've played have incredible frets and this Vintage V100 reissue is no exception. We did compare this to a more expensive Epiphone Les Paul Custom in another video and this Vintage V100 reissue held its ground. We even compared it to a Gibson Les Paul Studio and it's not far off. One great feature that you find on the Vintage V100 reissue that you only really find on very high end guitars is the 8 laminate binding on the front and back of the body. The neck and headstock are also bound.

I am big fun of Ibanez and recently I bought Vintage V100. It is an amazing guitar for its price range, with good mechanic and lovely voice.

I own one in Tobacco Colour, they sound amazing, those Wilkinson Double Coils Trevor Wilkinson worked with Seth Lover PAF founder, one of the many great things about the V100 you don't need any upgrades, it plays great out of the box, but I will mention its great to see reviews, the other You Tube folks rather plug other brands, to me this one the best LP under a grand,

I recently got a steal on a second hand V100 reissue, paid £200 for a honeyburst with a Seymour Duncan '59 neck pickup and legit Grover rotomatic tuners. I was suspicious it was gonna have something wrong with it but arrived and plays and sounds incredible. My advice to anyone looking for a cheap LP alternative is to go with a second hand Vintage V100 (or a new one!) the value for money is unbelievable and in my experience Vintage is far superior to Epiphone LP's (I've had 2 epi's and they were more expensive than my V100 and had way more issues, plus stock pickups on epiphones sound muddy as hell)

Great video. I have two vintage brand guitars and I use them all the time.

JHS/VINTAGE brand is like Aldi's, they take awesome stuff, replicate it to perfection and do it for a hell of a lot cheaper! What they do for the money is incredible and ive not found a brand that can compete with them in the £300-£400 price bracket. Wilkinson hardware and pickups are flawless. I have a V100 and a V6(strat) they sound epic and hold tune forever. Im currently saving for the V52(tele) in butterscotch having recently played one at my local store, the bridge pup is a beast of a single coil, should try one out if you havent!!

When all the hype over Harley Benton and Sire etc subsides Vintage will still be plodding away making fantastic guitars for not a lot of money. I just got a v100 tobacco burst. It's 10 or 11 years old and looks, sounds, and plays like a proper grown up guitar. There's plenty of nice cheapish guitars around from ibanez, ltd, epiphone, and squier but my v100 feels like a gibbo for 10th the price. I also have a Vintage Tele that's prob 20 years old (mine for 16 years) that is no great looker but is sounds, plays, fantastic. Action and tuning stability is awesome. Look no further kiddies!😁😁😁

These Vintage Guitars are marvellous. I hope Vintage are aware that rumours are about that their very high quality is now not so good. Please Vintage, keep up your standards. Also there are other nasty rumours about JHS ( the parent company) dumping them. Vintage Guitars is the best thing that ever happened to guitars for the people, electric or acoustic . Professional standard, amateur prices .
