I think the first of this genre was made around 1960 and called "Village of the Damned" and was based on John Wyndam's book "The Midwich Cuckoos". Those aliens also had weird light eyes. Wyndham also wrote "Day of the Triffids".

Good story, well ending. For a low budget movie it's good.

Insanely depressing and they actually used pictures for some of the sets. Not that it’s an uncommon practice, but you could see the reduced image quality around the characters; I’m sure there’s terminology for this. Just could’ve been better is all I’m sayin.

Eddie Arya is prolly not the new Gareth Edwards, but he tried and some of the shots look well crafted and atmospheric. If i see it streaming im going to watch it.

The rest of the trailer suggested my expectations being radically lowered is appropriate.

This could have been good but wasnt. With one half drunk and often quiet female scientist and a not moving zombie like alien lifeform i lost interest somewhere half into this movie in a also depressing story. It could have been great but wasnt.
