The excavator is falling down from the Mountain

What this Excavator operator trying?

There was no one in it, it was remotely controlled hence the guy in the back. If you screenshot and zoom in you can see the seat empty

That almost happened to me one time in a dozer. I was pushing dirt down the side of a mountain to feed it to the loader below. I got real close to the edge showing off. When the dirt fell away from my blade and all I saw was air all I could think was, you just f'ed up. I through the dozer in reverse and it slowly crawled backward up the hill to a flat plateau. When I got up on the plateau I got out of the dozer and shook for about 10 minutes.

Being the excavator I can confirm that was totally unnecessary and a very hard drop. My back hurt for weeks.

If you zoom in where it landed, there was a small puddle of water there that cushioned the impact.

not sure if the remote operator was just clueless or was giving it its last run before sending it to the scrapyard.

It was remotely controlled by the dude walking behind it. Made to look like someone was inside. Definitely a big bang.

As it starts tipping over the edge I see no one panicking in the seat, so I'm guessing it was empty, or the dude behind it had a control box wired to the excavator.
