Hiker rescued from flooded canyon in southern Utah

Dramatic video of a Utah DPS helicopter crew rescuing a hiker in southern Utah near the border with Arizona. The man was seen lying on his back and waving his arms.

Heavy rains from recent atmospheric rivers in the West flooded a slot canyon.

The man was brought to safety after he was exposed to the elements for days and was suffering from hypothermia.

Deputies say another hiker is missing in the area and another was found dead.

Helicopter crews also rescued nearly a dozen other hikers who had called for help.
