Hi, thank you for this. May I ask you a couple of things?
I wanted to register a soundtrack made for a movie student project, posted on youtube. The film is very famous but the soundtrack is original.
It's just a couple of cues played without interruption.
I choose "concert work" and selected the instrumentation. Then I choose "made for a video" and put the exact name of the youtube one.
Is that correct?
The other thing is this: what about the music, and the score? What do I have to do in order to make sure my music is copyrighted?

So what happens when a TV company like netflix finds and wants to use your music? Do they buy and download the track from whatever music library you put it on? Then does ASCAP get immediately notified of the purchase then notifies you with your shares? Thanks for the vid
