DID YOU KNOW THAT QUICKSILVER IS FASTER THAN YOU THOUGHT?
One of the coolest scenes in the X-Men movies is when Quicksilver saves everyone at Professor X's place from a massive explosion. From that scene, it dawned on me that Quicksilver's speed is actually faster than we might think. Why is that? Just take a look here when he uses his speed, the world around him seems to move in slow motion. But this is normal for a character with super speed. What's not normal is that while the world around him slows down, Quicksilver can still move at high speeds. He should be moving at a normal pace when the world around him is slowing down. This indirectly makes Quicksilver's speed twice as fast as it should be. But no matter how fast he moves, it's useless if the storyline doesn't favor him. Even with lightning-fast speed, Quicksilver's leg can still be broken by the villain Apocalypse. Want to know more about other comic stories?
