Thailands Muay Thai is called the Art of The 8 Fists (2hands, 2elbows, 2 knees 2 feet) so Myanmars traditional martial art Lethwei is the art of 9 fists because it adds head butting into the mix

Fun facts: 1.) Not just Vietnam that got bahn mi. Laos got Khao jee pâté and Cambodia got Num pang which all three are Baguette sandwich.
2.) Laos used to be vassal kingdom to Thailand but because of France, Thailand has to sign a treaty to give away Laos. That's why there was Franco-Thai war. The objective of that war is to get Laos and parts of Cambodia back to Thailand.

They also have some incredibly fragrant, fresh, and diverse food, combining elements of East and South Asia, while still being very unique to the region. Everyone knows Thai and Vietnamese food are amazing, with lots of healthy vegetable and seafood dish option. Burmese food is also incredible, though less known. I tried mohinga and the tea leaf salad. Very delicious, and that salad has got to be the most time consuming yet worth it salad I have ever seen made.

I always knew I would love Thailand, and it did not disappoint. The food and islands are incredible. What I was entirely unprepared for was how much I would love Vietnam. For me the food is right up there with Thai, and we got off the beaten track more there and had a great time.

Fun fact about Myanmar and Thailand. Burmese still call Thailand by a slur. The official name for Thailand in Myanmar is actually a slur we made up to demean them. We call it Yodaya.
In the ancient times, the capital of Thailand was Ayutthaya. The name means the invincible city. But we Burmese called it Yutthata, meaning vunerable city. Over times the word eventually evolve to become Yodaya, and we eventually comes to refer to the entire country as such.

The fights between Myanmar and Thailand were quite stupid. We once went to war with them because they wouldn't give us an elephant.
