Flight of the Pterosaur front seat on-ride HD POV Paultons Park

Paultons Park didn't open just one new coaster in May 2016 - they opened two! Flight of the Pterosaur (the P is silent!) is a Suspended Roller Coaster built by Vekoma. It has a top speed of 24 mph (55 km/h), is 65 feet (20m) tall and 1,296 feet (395m) long. What makes this coaster special are the multiple foot chopping moments - watch out during the helix finale!

The theming is really good! Mild ride, good for kids. Very smooth.

To allll the people complaining about not enough thrills - paultons are doing some digging work in a big field next to the edge and cobra. In my personal opinion, I think it is for a future gerstlauer launch coaster. That would be great!

This may not be the most exciting rollercoaster out there, but the theming of the park looks superb. I'd visit just for that.

When I went on the "Flight of the Pterasaurs" yesterday, I would swear that it went 10x faster than it does shown in the video.

This is a great family coaster. It may not look that thrilling but the helix at the end really does pack a punch. The lap bars are surprisingly comfortable, it’s very smooth and the theming is great.

The ride might look slow and it isn't extremely fast but when your at the back you get pulled and it's a lot faster

I went on that twice last week. I have acrophobia 🤗 I almost had a panic attack and boy I screamed a lot. It looks lowkey here but it’s terrifying. I loved it tho.

i went to paultons a few months after this ride opened. i think i was 9ish and omg i hated it!! since then i have been to chessington and ridden vampire. i will be coming back to ride this again!!

The floater hill at the beginning of the ride is what I wanted B&M to do with their inverteds. But instead we got the vest and a bunch of loops on Banshee. What I basically want, is an inverted with the old restraints, and floater hills like Goliath at SFoG. The red side of Dragon Challenge also has it, where you float and it seems like your feet will touch the ground if you're in the front.
