My cat is strictly an indoor cat. Since she can't go outside to catch prey, she goes upstairs to my granddaughters room and brings me her stuffed animals. It's so cute. I always say thank you.

My cat showed he cared when he kept messing around where the circuit breaker is at for the house. I thought maybe he was playing or there's a roach until I open the circuit breaker door and realize one of the Breakers was burning and smoking and glowing Orange😮. I gave him quite a few treats and hugs and thanks and now he's got extra toys😂

My 17 year old girl was my best friend. When I came home and it was a nice sunny day out side she would call out to me to come outside and relax in the sun with her, it was our favorite time of the day. Once when I was sick and groaning she was imitating my groaning. She would even tell me when it was past my bed time. I miss her dearly.

You're very correct, but in having cats for 40 years and I've worked with animals over 16 years, a few comments of my own:
1. Cats do meow at each other. I came home from work and the personal message light was blinking on my answering machine. I had 3 cats at that time. No humans were present, but yet one cat was meowing at another one on the recording. It was right below their cat tree and he accidentally hit the button as he jumped down.
2. They also lick humans because of the salt in our perspiration. They like the taste if it.
3. They have pheromone glands all along the sides of their bodies too and are claiming you as their property.
4. Milk kick? I've never heard that term. I call it kneading.
5. Not all cats like to be close to you. Depends on their specific character traits.
6. Cats can purr even when they're in pain.
7. They also like the warmth of the fresh, clean clothes.

I praised my cat when she brought me a bird....and she celebrated by jumping straight up in the air, then swat it back and forth, then wanted to go back inside to eat her found that amazing. Cats truly know what they're doing.

When I was a boy; our Maine Coon would bring prey home to my mom as large as a Pheasant! My Mom would freak out and have me clean it up/take it away. God, I loved that cat. He used to follow me on my daily paper route!

My pets were really in tune with me when I was super sick with the flu and they watched over me and took good care of me until I was better. I was so sick I didn't know anything, it was like having amnesia. Tippy and Klondike knew this because I wasn't acting my normal self. The boys got really happy when my memory came back and I started crying. That experience was really scary T_T
