As a former Christian who is a therapist. I can tell everyone I have NEVER had clients traumatized by Dragqueens. I DO have a LOT of clients that have endured horrific trauma in churches and religious families!

“Broadway twinks lip syncing to mother knows best from tangled” is my ideal night out tbh

"Why are they dressing like overly sexualized females??"
The last drag show I went to: *had a drag queen dressed as Buzz Lightyear*

The fact that these women’s brother was sexually abused as a child and their mother saw it happen and did nothing to stop the abuse let’s you know who the real predators are

the “it’s not gonna lick itself” is a tagline for a popular ice cream chain in tx…

i appreciated that, while trixie maintained a sense of respectfulness, she still called them out with no hesitation when they said something genuinely damaging. cruel people don't deserve to be baby-talked.

Trixie is such a kind person for not mocking people like these, but instead, she feels sad for them.

I love how Trixie immediately picked up how these girls hate each other 😂 it's so obvious that they do not like each other. Also I love the transparency Trixie and I absolutely agree with you. I just... It's so weird to me that Christians live in this delusional world where the idea of letting other people exist, do what they want live how they want seems like terrorism to them.

I definitely agree not all drag shows are appropriate for children, however it's the parents responsibility to not take their children to those shows. You're not gonna take your child to a strip club then blame the strippers.

So true about "Do people go to therapy because they went to a Drag show? No". Meanwhile you've got millions of people scarred for life because of organized religion.

If a child is at a non-child friendly drag show, that’s on the parents, not the queens/kings. As Lady Gaga once said “Who tf hears the words Lady Gaga and Las Vegas and thinks ‘I’m bringing my kids!’“ like seriously, if you bring your kids to an adult drag show, the queens/kings aren’t going to change the performance to be more child friendly

"there is FREEDOM when we FOLLOW god's design" what an oxymoron

As someone who was raised to be just like these two, there's something really healing about having an outside party acknowledge how fucked up it is.

The attitudes of Ashley and Ashley are why I kept my sexuality closeted for three decades. Drag queens make life bearable for us .

I actually went to church where they had “drag Easter” because it was also transgender day of visibility. They had a really lovely drag queen who read a story to the kids, everyone came in drag, and our pastor talked about his journey of coming out as trans. My cousin got up during the sharing part and talked about how glad they were to feel safe, and I got to play around with masculine gender expression and found I had a lot of fun with it. I wish that church wasn’t two hours away from me because it’s one of the few places I still feel respected after leaving my really nice church when I moved.

As a larger *chested* woman, I never knew I was just “overdeveloped” lol

Trixie, so many of my dear friends in the late 1980s in San Francisco were drag queens who did not survive the AIDS crisis, and I miss them so badly. The hilarious humor, raunchiness, and sense of the absurd that you and Katya bring to my life make me feel their presence again. Thank you so much for that.

Trixie and Katya NEED to do a drag parody of these two

It‘s the hypocrisy that gets me. They have a problem how drag is „pushed onto them“ (when it’s not) and them turn around pushing their religious beliefs on other people
