very nice content..deserves a million like..only one suggestion is explain more on how heroku automatically takes those properties with actual values..i see few comments as doubt regarding that point only.

Man, you are GOOD. You are SO GOOD!!! Thanks a lot!!! But I still can't understand how to migrate my local MySQL DB to Heroku PostgreSQL DB. Now I'm trying to figure it out.
So, thank you SO MUCH!!!

Thank you! There are a lot of bad and wrong tutorials (with shitty music) around. I am so-so glad I have found this. Good job!

Many thanks my friend for this solution !!

I had done it, but it still was not working, so after a while I discovered that it was that I already had a Bean connection file with mysql, so I went in this file of mine and commented on the // Bean annotation and // configuration.

When uploading the application, everything worked out, now it is actually using postGree instead of mysql that was configured in the file that I changed.

Hi,
first to say it was a great tutorial. I am just wondering one thing, We change the application.property file with new DB data, url, username and pass and they should point to some instance of the DB, right? But where is this instance, where are the DB tables created?

I have to use Git Bash instead of Heroku CLI, don't know what was wrong.

When I run the "git push heroku master" command, gives the error below, how to solve?

Could not find a pom.xml file! Please check that it exists and is committed to Git.
! Push failed

Grand Job, editing could've been a bit tighter.
Your e-mail address is still exposed and you should've used the 10x Speed for the last load.
