Kim dokja, a 28 years old human that turns into a goblin because of 'a curse from god'. In his past life, his companions stabbed him to death because of some condition that need to be fulfilled. He thought he will be resurrected but instead he got reincarnated into a different world. He lives for almost 500 years searching for someone that could end his pain. He did find that person. He found yoo joonghyuk. An ordinary human, living an ordinary life with her sister. Yoo joonghyuk kinda reminds kim dokja of someone he knew, someone... he can't remember anymore.

Kim dokja follows yoo joonghyuk almost everyday, tease him telling him that he's kim dokja's bride a.k.a goblin bride, showing yjh the world that yjh himself never see, alas they have a happy life. But kim dokja always longing to face his death... even when yoo joonghyuk make him happy enough to live.

Then.. that day come. The day Kim Dokja decide to pull out the sword from his chest. That day he remember. He remember that he need to go back and help his companions to see the ending. Yoo joonghyuk tried to stop him but it's too late, kim dokja has made his mind.

In the end, Yoo Joonghyuk memories of Kim Dokja entirely dissappear as Kim Dokja fade into ashes.
