Nothing better than someone telling you what to do in your 20s while playing a scratch off.

3. have zero skills, hobbies, or goals

I am 27 and have been stuck in the same cotton picking job forever. The passion I used to have for anything is gone. I don't know what to do.

This is hands-down A1 advice. I'm in my thirties now and I wish someone told me this at 22. Whether I would've taking it seriously is another matter

23 at the moment. Dropped out of art school at 19 when I realized how fucking empty the thought of doing marketing for the rest of my life made me feel. I study biotechnology now, the shit is hard but I love the struggle and trying to find and build my own company centered around it keeps me excited and full of energy. I work a job at a bakery that I'm currently toiling at, trying to find and execute on any fork that enters my path.

I started a knife sharpening business last March and it brings in decent money every month, not enough to live off of, but close. One of my customers fits the bill of the old rich guy that seems to enjoy imparting his knowledge. We were talking as we he was getting his knives back, he told me he started his company when he was 51 and made more money in 5 years than he did working 30 years for someone else. He made $20 million in his specific niche of a huge industry, and the path aligns with value that I think I can add for him. Shoutout the algorithm for putting this video my way, I'm going to find out what problems he has with his business and try solve one for free to get my foot in the door.

Find a mentor, don't get molested.

Follow the three point system.
1. Do you like the job?
2 How does it pay?
3. Do you like your coworkers?

This is extremely good advice. Basically been working crappy jobs until now. Struggled to get my accounting diploma after coming to my senses and coming to the Lord, I am now working for my uncle at an insolvency firm and for the first time in my life I feel like my life is actually going somewhere. God is good, hard work and acquiring knowledge from your elders will pay off. God bless.

Man I'm working full time at Lowe's right now in the Lumber department. I've been half assing looking for a job on LinkedIn for the career I really want to get into (which I am qualified for). I feel like I blink on my days off and I'm back at work. I tossed my shit yesterday at work and said I'm done

My best advice is try getting a job where you can sit and read books like reception basically where their is a lot of idle time and they don’t give a shit if you’re doing something

Pretty true. When I was like 20 I was still working a crap retail gig. Charmed my way into a corporate role at the same gig, learnt on the job with no qualifications and now earning over $100k at 25.
Good advice.

very tough to take advice from a guy doing a scratch-off on stream but it sounded decent 👍

A career and a job are two different thing. Working your ass off in a career that will lead to better things, is the best thing other than starting your own company in your 20s. But one can lead to the other

Thank you for the new perspective Sam. I knew my job provided value, but hopefully now I can focus on what it specifically provides. To be fair, it is also the same type of business I want to be in, just with different products.
