Semi truck driver here and I took my first trip to San Antonio and Laredo TX. They were harvesting cotton. East and Central TX seems to be mostly cattle farming.

You should tell us how to get into organic farming. We did it when I was a kid. Most people don’t know how difficult it is to get set up today.

Our harvest is going good. Corn is running better than expected beans was pretty good too. We farm near albert lea. When a bolt breaks on our ripper we will take a heavy ratchet strap and go around the shank to put it back in place works good when you don't have a mall to pound it back. A strap we can set in the rock box. Just a suggestion. Have a safe harvest

We just sprayed our cotton to kill it yesterday so we’re about 2 weeks out from harvest.

I was a few good seasons away from being a farmer. My Grandpa had to sell the family farm when I was a kid. That being said, I watch a lot of farming YouTube. Organic and regenerative farming is interesting to me but there isn’t a lot of YouTube content on it. What processes are different from start to finish in organic/regenerative in compared to traditional corn/soybean farming? What does one do with cover crop before planting cash crop? Ect

What i do when a shank pivots way back like that and gets stuck hard i just set the ripper all the way down in some loose dirt and gently back er up about 12-18 inches and the dirt catches that shank and pivots it right back to where its free 👍 try that next time might save you 2 hrs and a hammer 😊

I have 2 girls that play basketball and I can tell you one thing after watching 5th grade thru 9th grade girls basketball…WWE has nothing on these girls. I’m constantly surprised how much mugging is allowed in these games.
