Many years ago, when their kids were still fairly small (grade school ages) I sat behind David and the kids --Harper had not been born yet-- at a Wimbledon match in London. For hours, I watched as the public just would not leave this family alone. Every break between sets, giddy spectators would approach them in their seats, gushing and asking for autographs. I'm sure all they wanted was to be left alone, but David acknowledged everyone who approached and their kids would stand and shake hands, smiles on their faces. They were unfailingly polite, without being prompted by David. I was within a few feet and could hear all their conversation; those kids never complained. It was an impressive display of humble, well mannered, easy going and friendly kids and their equally humble, relatable father. Whatever Victoria and David have accomplished, they raised just nice kids. Well done.

Love that time validated why she was my favorite spice girl! It was obvious "labels" and "marketing" were giving her certain image but I never sensed that from her. She always seemed humble and focused on her true passions.
